During this webinar, Alessandro Marson from the University of Padova, will unravel the intricacies of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and its pivotal applications within the pulp industry.

Speaker

Alessandro Marson is a post-doctoral researcher at CESQA (Quality and Environmental Research Centre), part of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy. He completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the same university in 2023. His research interests include life cycle assessment, decarbonization strategies, and the development of decision support tools. Marson has applied these approaches in various areas, with experience in the plastics sector and in projects involving the valorization of biomass by-products. In 2023, he co-founded Bluegreen Ecoinnovations, a start-up dedicated to the development of innovative tools for companies to manage and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He works as a freelance consultant and auditor in the same fields.
