About the Event

The FinnCERES Ecosystem Event of 2023 brings together top experts from both industry and academia to discuss the central questions of industrial scale applications of advanced bio-based materials.

What does the future of biorefineries look like for the pulp and paper industry? How can bio-based materials help solve today’s packaging challenges or contribute to new type of sensors, cleaner water and heathier living?

Hear from invited speakers, meet current and new ecosystem members and the FinnCERES research community!

Following the ecosystem event, you will also have the opportunity to hear the pitch presentations of the Finnish candidates in the Markus Wallenberg Young Researcher Challenge. The pitching session is organized in collaboration with the Finnish Forest Products Engineers' Association.
